Bringing FlowBall Into Everyday Life as a Path to Health, Balance, and Community
Our mission is to promote FlowBall (Rouliball) as a healthier, more balanced, and more connected way of life. We aim to make FlowBall an accessible, welcoming, and sustainable part of everyday routines, so more people can enjoy its benefits over time. FlowBall helps improve coordination and balance, strengthens focus and body awareness, relieves stress, and supports more consistent movement habits for people of different ages and backgrounds. Through classes, community programs, school partnerships, and public events, we are working to bring FlowBall into communities, schools, and families across the United States as a lifelong wellness practice.
Meet Rujia Wang
Rujia Wang began formal Wushu training at the age of seven and later discovered Rouliqiu (Roliball/flowball) during her university years. By 2026, she has practiced the sport for ten years and has made it a central part of her academic and professional path.
She earned her Master’s degree in Ethnic & Folk Sports from Beijing Sport University, where she conducted research related to Rouliqiu and its role in health and wellness. Through both research and long-term practice, she found that the sport offers meaningful benefits for different age groups—especially middle-aged and older adults—in areas such as hand flexibility, coordination, physical engagement, and overall well-being.
Rujia is now dedicated to growing this sport in the United States. To make it more accessible and culturally relevant, she promotes Rouliqiu (originally known as Roliball) under the name FlowBall, with the goal of building a professional, community-based association platform that supports classes, events, education, and long-term development.
